Growth is expected to be strongest in North America, driven by the manufacturing sector, and with increasing interest from financial services and government. Growth outside North America will also be fuelled by the government and financial services sectors, particularly within the U.K. Activity in Learning BPO in Asia Pacific is primarily driven by Australia, with some interest from manufacturing centers in China, Japan and South Korea.

Out-tasking within learning functions has always been a key method for organizations to access expertise and scale in order to complement their internal learning function. Now, longer-term learning outsourcing arrangements are becoming an increasingly viable alternative for companies looking to maximise spend within the learning function.
