Jul 11, 2008 (Hugin via COMTEX) ----TROY, MI--(Marketwire - July 11, 2008) - Kelly Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: KELYA: 18.31, -0.68, -3.58%) (NASDAQ: KELYB: 19.89, +0.00, +0.00%), a global human resources solutions provider, announced today that it has signed an agreement to acquire all of the shares of the Portuguese subsidiaries of Randstad Holding N.V., Randstad - Empresa de Trabalho Temporario, Unipessoal, Lda and Randstad - Gestao de Processos, Lda. Terms were not disclosed. The transaction is expected to close during the third quarter of this year.

The acquisition is subject to approval of the European Commission. In the process of obtaining approval from the European Commission of its recently completed acquisition of Vedior, N.V., Randstad announced on March 28, 2008 that it would divest its activities in Portugal.

The sale includes 13 branch offices and 15 on-site locations serving the entire Portuguese staffing market. In addition to traditional temporary staffing services, current business lines also include on-site personnel management, and permanent placement. As a part of the transaction the current management team, including Frank Weermeijer, general manager, is expected to remain in place.

The purchase will mark Kelly's initial entry into the Portuguese market. "This acquisition supports our strategy of global growth to serve our world wide customer base with a full array of human resources solutions," said Carl Camden, president, and chief executive officer. "We look forward to entering the Portuguese market, and are genuinely excited about seizing future opportunities by building on the solid foundation Randstad has built there."

"We are very pleased to be joining the Kelly Services organization," said Frank Weermeijer, general manager. "Kelly's reputation for excellent client service, integrity, and innovative staffing solutions makes this transaction a good fit both for us, and for our customers."
